Results we are working toward

Discipleship

  • Working together from a clear, shared, and flexible plan for discipleship
  • Have more and ever richer Life Groups
  • Actively welcoming people from their first visit, to help them become richly connected in the life of the church
  • Actively caring for all regular attenders, through Life Groups, ministry teams, personal care, and the work of the elders

Leadership

  • At least half of our teams have an understudy being prepare for future leadership
  • At least 75% of our ministry teams are ‘connected and empowered’
  • At least half of our ministry teams are building social connections among its members and fostering their dicipleship

Vibrant Conversations 

  • Have a clear and replicable strategy for engaging in vibrant conversations about complex and important topics
  • Have implemented at least three such conversations in the congregation

Strategic planning 

  • Have developed a 3-year results vision for our church

Spiritual gift assessment surveys

It is important to note that any spiritual gift assessment tool reflects assumptions and beliefs about spiritual gifts. One area where churches and denominations differ is about what is sometimes referred to as “sign gifts”, such as speaking in tongues, discerning tongues, words of knowledge, and miracles.
